1 - Reform your diet



Let's start with some recommendations and minor dietary reductions.

Diet is an essential activity for the proper functioning of our bodies, but it is especially important in the management of hormonal acne.

As you read in the preface, it is important to know the nature of foods and their constituents that contribute to androgen synthesis, comedogenesis, inflammation and wellness and hormone balance.

In naturopathy, we are interested in the nature of the food, but more importantly in the general reaction of the body, how the food is assimilated and the waste products eliminated (or not).

There is no standard diet in acne treatment: you have to find the "food mode" that suits you and its evolution throughout the three phases.

In any case, like health, diet is never perfect and fixed, but a search for balance and constant improvement.

Here, the objective is to advise you on temporary evictions that are easy to implement and to promote an anti-inflammatory diet.

And in this case, dietary reform begins with this important foundation: food should be natural, unadulterated, as close to the raw state as possible.

Modernization of food moves away from this state, depletes micronutrients and is a source of toxins and nutrient thieves.

Food products from agrochemicals, out of season (forced into greenhouses), from the other hemisphere, canned, irradiated, additives (preservatives, flavors, dyes, etc.), GMOs, industrial prepared meals are not recommended ..., as well as "fake products" (sweeteners, "light" ...).

As well as overly violent cooking, freezing and microwaves... which mutilate micronutrients and can alter the conformation of macronutrients.

Then two main evictions that aim to reduce insulin and inflammation and this concerns :

        1. Eliminate high glycemic index foods 

        2. Eliminate cow's milk in all its forms (milk, yogurt, cheese,...)
