4 - Vegetable oils used for acne

For acne-prone skin, vegetable oil is ideal for regulating sebum production and promoting healing.

Avoid comedogenic oils and also pay attention to the quality of the oil, its method of extraction and its freshness which will determine its effectiveness.

It should preferably be virgin, cold-pressed and organic.

Always apply the oil to wet skin for better penetration.

Prefer oils rich in linoleic acid (omega-6) and with a comedogenic index between 0 and 1 because they help regulate and purify the skin.
